Camer shots quiz

 For this assigment assigned in the beginning of the school year, we had to follow the guidelines of conveying a story through 15 shots of different angles and shots about inatimate objects. The assigment needed to have a tone and a plot.

I think me and my partner did a pretty decent job, you could tell what was happenning and it somewhat showed a tone although it was difficult because pens (the inatimate object we chose) don't have a face so you couldn't tell what they were feeling. I think we could have chosen an object that had at least a face and arms but pens were the only subject that were avaible to us in the classroom. We also could have used less human interaction with the pens but it's hard because a pen can't really convey an emotion or even do a motion. My favorite shot is the low angle because the pens are hanging from the table, barely hanging on, and what looks like a large distance between them and the floor. This scene gives a feeling of desperation because the pens have nothing to do other than drop to the ground.
